CRISIS COMMITTEES

The Crisis Committees at NAMUN offer a dynamic and immersive experience where delegates wield the ability to influence events unfolding in real-time. Through front-room debates and back-room directives, delegates can expect to represent a diverse array of roles including individuals ministers, corporate executives, and other non-traditional MUN characters in a variety of historical, fictional, and conceptual scenarios. NAMUN in particular introduces the Integrated and Joint Crisis format, where multiple separate committees will be cooperating with or clashing against each other in the same setting.

In 2024, the Crisis Committees were offered in three types. Selected for geographical diversity and maximum engagement, our topics ranged from the jungles of Borneo to the Nile River.
